Terry Godbey Orlando (Susan Lilley)
Finding Love at 66 Maybe there is nothing, ever, that can equal the recollection of having been young together. – Michael Cunningham I opened the Facebook message and out came an old friend I opened the old friend and out came a man who fell for me decades ago I opened the man who fancied me without my noticing and out came someone who knew me better at 22 than I knew myself I opened the confidante with whom I had been young — out came a rugged photographer who listened and radiated a quiet kindness I opened that kindness and attention and out came a supercharged version of myself whose skin began to dance I opened my skin to his and we became a spray of sparks, starflash and second chances |
